What I'm up to now (updated August 30)
- Most people probably don't know this, but I've had Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 6. For almost 37 years, I've been giving myself injections (roughly 3-4 per day), which adds up to around 50,000 injections over the years. I've just switched to an automatic insulin pump, so I'm excited (and scared, to be honest!) to see how this will work out. Fingers crossed!
- I've started to slowly look for additional work for the fall. I'm still at a point where I'm not desperate but I've begun talking to some great people. Fingers crossed again!
- I'm working with Summer Health on a pretty big thing that's launching later this year. It's been a lot of fun because I've been heavily involved with everything design-related; product design, visual design, branding, user experience - you name it.
- On a different summer-note (see what I did there?), I'm really doing my best to enjoy summer as much as possible. The winters are dark and rainy here so doing my best to (literally) soak up all the sunshine I can now.
